Directions

The Appalachian Center at Hickory is located on the East Campus of CVCC on Highway 70 SE. From the Main Campus of CVCC, the East Campus is located approximately one-half mile to the East on Highway 70 SE.

• From I-40 West (from Statesville):
  1. Take Exit 128 - Fairgrove Church Road.
  2. Turn left on to Fairgrove Church Road.
  3. Drive to Hwy 70 and turn right.
  4. Drive approximately 1 mile to the first traffic light.
  5. Turn left into the East Campus parking lot (behind Northern Tool).
  6. The Appalachian Center at Hickory is on the right end of the building.
• From I-40 East (from Morganton):
  1. Take Exit 126 - McDonald Parkway.
  2. Turn right on to McDonald Parkway.
  3. Drive to the second traffic light, Hwy 70, and turn left.
  4. Drive approximately 1 mile to the third traffic light.
  5. Turn right into the CVCC East Campus parking lot (behind Northern Tool).
  6. The Appalachian Center at Hickory is on the right end of the building.
• From 321 (from Gastonia or Boone):
  1. Take 321 to I-40 East.
  2. Take Exit 126 - McDonald Parkway.
  3. Turn right on to McDonald Parkway.
  4. Drive to the second traffic light, Hwy 70, and turn left.
  5. Drive approximately 1 mile to the third traffic light.
  6. Turn right into the CVCC East Campus parking lot (behind Northern Tool).
  7. The Appalachian Center at Hickory is on the right end of the building.
