In good times and bad, it's always a good idea to know how to manage your nest egg. In this two-part workshop, you'll learn how to cope with bear markets and the recession, how to plan your retirement destiny, and how to make the most of your retirement plan.

Workshop leader Katherine Newton is a certified financial planner and chartered financial consultant who helps clients grow and protect their money to produce reliable streams of retirement income so that they are free to pursue what's important in their lives. For 27 years, she has also been helping clients pass on wealth in meaningful and tax-efficient manners.

Workshop Dates and Location

The two-session workshop will be held on consecutive Thursdays, September 10 and 17, 2009. Hours of the workshop are 2 to 4 p.m. each session. Site for the workshop is the Appalachian State University Center at Hickory, located on the East Campus of Catawba Valley Community College, 1/2 mile east of the main campus on US Highway 70 SE in Hickory.

You may cancel your registration on or before September 3, 2009. After September 3, no refunds will be given; however, substitutions are welcome. We reserve the right to cancel this program in the event of unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment. If a course is cancelled, a full refund of the registration fee will be given.
