As a whole, nationwide crime is down. Still, the crime that is committed puts citizens in a state of perpetual fear. These crimes are very real, and we must observe and track trends within our own community. The perfect place for this to begin is within your own home and then work your way outward.

This two-hour seminar will help you develop an understanding of the Community Watch System and its importance for you and your neighbors. You'll also identify strategies to implement (or re-vitalize) a program within your community.

Our Leader

Sergeant Ericka Heath began work for the Hickory Police Department in 2002. She worked as a patrol officer for four years in ADAM Pact (NW Hickory). She later transferred to the Community Services PACT as a school resource officer. Today, Sgt. Heath is supervisor of Community Services with Hickory Police Department. She holds a number of certifications.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration on or before March 19. After March 19, no refunds will be given; however, substitutions are welcome. We reserve the right to cancel this program in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled, a full refund of the registration fee will be made.
